"BIRIYANI ZONE" with a tag line of HYDERABADI BIRIYANI COOKED IN FIREWOOD started during the month of February 2010 with a motive of spreading the wholeness of traditional Andhra / Hyderabadi Style Cooking to every resident in and around Kundalahalli and Marathalli, Bangalore.

"Biriyani Zone" is the only restaurant in the horizon which follows the oldest form of cooking, that is on fire wood & Coal. “The Hyderabadi Biriyani” which is our speciality, is being prepared with meat marinated with spices and again soaked in yogurt before cooking. The meat is sandwiched between layers of fragrant long-grained basmati rice and is cooked on dum (steaming over coals), after sealing the handi (vessel) with a layer of dough. This challenging process & meticulous attention to time and temperature ensures that the biriyani is not over or undercooked and the meat is tender. This imparts a unique aroma, taste and flavour, whilst ensuring that food remains succulent and tender. One of best Indian spices are chosen and grounded by our Chefs at Biriyani Zone itself.
